Conservator of the Estate
Court–monitored, financial oversight.
When you, or a loved one, are no longer able to make financial decisions, the court may appoint a Conservator of the Estate to act on your behalf. As Conservator, we manage and oversee every aspect of your financial estate, or the financial estate of a family member, under court supervision including the management of bank accounts, paying bills, and paying for other expenses as needed by our client.
As Conservator, it’s our job to always keep our clients’ interests in mind. As we manage client money and property, we seek to include clients in decisions whenever possible. And, as agents of the court, we are required to report to the court regularly and be ready to answer any questions creating additional peace of mind for our clients and their loved ones.
Conservator of the Estate services are available exclusively in California and Colorado.
We understand your needs:
Best Interest of the Client
Because we are managing our client’s money and property, we must make decisions that are best for him or her, as well as any dependents the client has. This means we ignore the interest and needs of other people.
Managing Money and Property
We must manage our client’s money and property carefully. We may pay bills, oversee bank accounts, and pay for things our clients need. This may also include, making investments, paying taxes, collecting rent or unpaid debts.
Record Keeping and Court Reporting
As Conservator, we are required to keep true and complete records of our client’s money and property. This includes keeping track of every transaction, receipt, and keep notes.
