Meet Crystal, our dedicated Operations Coordinator and an indispensable part of our team. She’s not just enthusiastic about her role; she’s a passionate advocate for Foster Source, an exceptional Colorado-based organization committed to providing education, relief, and therapy to foster and kinship families. 

Crystal’s incredible journey is a testament to the profound impact our employees can have when they engage with causes close to their hearts. In early 2020, amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Crystal and her husband Earl embarked on an extraordinary adventure: they became foster parents. Their path was marked by obstacles such as doctor visits, court hearings, and the daily challenges of caring for an infant girl. 

Yet, their unwavering determination prevailed. Their love and commitment to their foster child bore fruit when they officially adopted her before her second birthday. This was a powerful affirmation of their dedication, underscoring the idea that families come in all shapes and sizes, bonded by the love they share. 

However, the story doesn’t end there. In 2022, Crystal and Earl opened their hearts once more, welcoming another foster child, a baby boy, with just an hour’s notice. They knew they could rely on their family and the incredible support network offered by Foster Source. Their actions exemplified a deep commitment to giving these children the nurturing homes they deserve. 

In Crystal’s own words, “Parenting is not about giving birth, but about giving ‘life’ to a child.” 

This is where our commitment to supporting our employees’ passions truly shines. We actively engage with organizations like Foster Source to make a meaningful impact. They provide crucial support to families like Crystal’s, including essentials such as diapers and formula, along with emotional support during challenging times.
