Today, we have the pleasure of introducing Stephanie Johnson, our VP of Clinical Operations, whose passion, dedication, and leadership have inspired us all. Join us as we learn more about Stephanie and her valuable contributions to our organization.

As Vice President of Clinical Operations, Stephanie leads a dedicated team of field staff who provide essential service and advocacy to our clients. Her day-to-day involves communicating with individuals interested in accessing GSF CARE services, ensuring that their needs are understood and addressed effectively.

There’s more to Stephanie than just work! Let’s dive into some fun questions to get to know her beyond her professional duties:

If you could possess one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?

Be invisible. Imagine being able to move around undetected, gather valuable information discreetly or to navigate sensitive situations with greater ease.

What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day?

A walk with my partner and the dogs after work. In the evening, a sauna and massage!

What’s your favorite hobby or pastime outside of work?

Anything to do with spending time in the sun in nature.

If you could switch jobs with anyone else on the team for a day, who would it be and why?

An easy answer would be to work as a Care Manager for a day. I love working directly with the organization’s clients and care partners. But a more challenging day for me would be to switch jobs with the Controller. I think this assignment would help me better understand the interplay between our CARE team and Accounting.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

Talking with people, whether it be externally about Good Shepherd Fund or internally with my coworkers.

Share a memorable experience or achievement during your time with a client or family member we serve:

Gosh, there are so many from which to choose! Recently, I received feedback from a hospital’s medical team regarding their appreciation for the extent of involvement of the GSF CARE Client Care Manager and his great communication. The team noted they were not accustomed to a professional conservator being as familiar as GSF CARE with their clients. I know that the organization’s field staff are caring, professional and terrific advocates and it makes my day when external partners notice too!

Thank you for joining us in this edition of our Care Champions! We hope you enjoyed getting to know Stephanie as much as we have. Her passion, dedication, and leadership serve as an inspiration to us all. Together, we have the potential to achieve great things and make a lasting impact. Here’s to many more opportunities to shine a light on the amazing individuals who make our team extraordinary!
