Jon Christianson, LSW, NCG, an esteemed professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in social work and guardianship services. With a strong educational background and a commitment to serving others, Jon plays a crucial role in providing person-centered services to clients in Colorado through Good Shepherd Fund.

Jon’s journey in social work began with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wyoming in 2004, followed by a Masters of Social Work from Colorado State University in 2007. Armed with his educational qualifications, Jon embarked on a career dedicated to improving the lives of others.

Currently serving as the Colorado Regional Director at Good Shepherd Fund, Jon oversees the provision of person-centered services such as guardianship, medical/financial power of attorney, and care coordination. With his expertise as a Nationally Certified Guardian (NCG), Jon leads a team of dedicated case managers in delivering high-quality support to clients in the Denver metro area and beyond.

Prior to his role at The Good Shepherd Fund, Jon gained extensive experience in various settings, including eight years at Innovage Denver Center as a Medical Case Manager and Team Lead. In this role, he managed hospitalizations, rehabilitation stays, and care coordination, demonstrating a commitment to holistic and comprehensive care for his clients.

Jon’s previous roles also include five years at the Mental Health Center of Denver Colorado as a Forensics Clinical Case Manager, where he provided medication monitoring, psychiatric evaluation, and client advocacy services. Additionally, his experience as an HIV Prevention Coordinator with the Wyoming Department of Health showcases his dedication to outreach and prevention efforts in public health.
