Our Mission:
A Lifeline for Vulnerable Individuals
At The Good Shepherd Fund, we are deeply committed to improving the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community—minors, aging adults, and individuals with disabilities. Through our Pro Bono Program, we offer essential care, advocacy, and support to these individuals, many of whom face financial hardships and social isolation. This program is a lifeline to help us ensure they receive the care, dignity, and support they deserve, regardless of their ability to pay. Aging adults and individuals with disabilities often face significant challenges, including declining health, financial strain, and social isolation.
We step in where others may not, providing the advocacy, companionship, and care these individuals require to live with dignity. Our Care Management Service is designed to offer personalized support, addressing the unique needs of each client while fostering an environment of compassion and care. Donations received during #givingtuesday will support our Pro Bono Program and ensure that these individuals receive the support they need—whether it’s coordinating medical care, overseeing financial matters, or simply offering a compassionate ear—regardless of their ability to pay.
We invite you to join us this #GivingTuesday and make a lasting difference.
Doubling Impact & Transforming Lives
Match ($500 Donation)Daniel’s recent trip to Disneyland highlights the life-changing impact of our Special Needs Trust and Case Management services. Five years ago, he needed significant support, but this year, he embraced the adventure with greater independence.
Thanks to the dedication of the GSF team, Daniel created lasting memories. Match level donations double our impact, allowing us to provide essential support and create more moments like these for clients like Daniel.
Empowering Change & Impacting Lives
Bronze ($750 Donation)Michael’s early years in rural New Mexico were marked by hardship, relying on a Home Depot bucket for basic needs. After a difficult foster care journey, The Good Shepherd Fund became his source of stability. Last year, with the community’s support, we secured him a nurturing home.
Now, Michael enjoys a proper restroom and a personalized day program. Bronze level donations provide the resources that make these life-changing transformations possible.
A Brighter Future: The Difference a Donation Makes
Silver ($1,000 Donation)Bill, a Navy veteran from 1957 to 1961, gained valuable skills and personal growth during his service, mastering electronics and earning a promotion. As his Medical Power of Attorney, The Good Shepherd Fund has supported Bill through challenges, helping him lead an independent life.
Silver level donations make it possible for us to continue providing essential services and advocacy, ensuring clients like Bill have the opportunity to thrive. Your support transforms lives.

What Our Clients and Their Loved Ones Say
What Our Clients and Their Loved Ones Say
“This is the kindest and noblest organization I’ve ever come across in my life. When my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s dementia, the Good Shepherd Fund became my mother’s conservator. I was blown away by the level of care that they displayed, their patience with everyone involved, and their determination to ensure my ill mother would have the highest quality of life possible for her final years…”
