“Trust Administration” is any instance where The Good Shepherd Fund is established as a Trustee and holds the fiduciary duty of administering a trust governing document for a beneficiary. “Trust Administration Fee” is a fee, for which beneficiaries receive unlimited distributions, unlimited calls & correspondence, and all processing and handling of beneficiary or interested stakeholder concerns. It also includes internal accounting and reporting, and full account maintenance. The Trust Administration Fee does not include 3rd-party vendor fees, legal fees, or accounting fees charged by 3rd parties, nor does it include expenses incurred by the organization for research, tort response, digitizing of files, travel, or other direct expenses incurred in administration, or other activities uncommon to trust administration. Activities uncommon to trust administration are billed at the published hourly rate schedule. “Fiduciary & Investment Fee” is an all-inclusive fee that includes IPS monitoring, Registered Investment Advisor, Asset Custody, Money Management, and all account reconciliations at the investment level. This also includes all balancing, transactions, and standard bank fees. “Published Hourly Rate and Fee Schedule” is a fee matrix designed according to best practice standards in Person-Centered service delivery. These fees only apply to clients receiving person-centered care services such as Guardianship, Conservatorship, Power of Attorney, Case Management, Health Care Advocate, Medical Proxy or trustee activities uncommon to trust administration (rare). By policy, specific tasks are discharged at the lowest possible level within the organization. Invoicing for person-centered services happens monthly, and invoice codes correspond to the hourly rate schedule matrix above. Clients not receiving person-centered services, or trust beneficiaries not engaged in activities uncommon to trust administration will not be assessed an invoice for these fees. Hard costs (airfare, rental car/gas, hotel accommodations) for travel associated expenses are eligible for reimbursement by the client. Fiduciary & Investment Fee Breakdown The following chart displays the progressive sliding scale and Fair Market Value (FMV) tiers for our annual Fiduciary and Investment Fees. The Good Shepherd Fund reserves the right to change or amend the fee schedule at anytime, for any reason. When amendments occur, a minimum of 30day notice will be given to all current and pending clients and beneficiaries. Any service not expressly listed in this schedule is billed at the published hourly rate schedule.
